On first glance, I didn't even notice the hair wasn't coloured in. The rest of the picture was enough to draw me in. The glare is intense; blue eyes backed up with blue and purple eye shadow, backed up even more with the blue-toned skin. I love the subtle repetition of the blue and purple down where her clothes are. All these cold colours just seem to suck the viewer's eyes into the cobalt blue eyes, and we just feel caught out as we're captured by her glare.
The red lips, on their own, is beautifully coloured and very interesting to look at. However, in a piece like this, it's starting to give me the idea that there are just too many colours in this composition. You have an overall cold pallet (blue and purple), but you have little details in a warm pallet (red and orange).
I would suggest blue lips, but that's just me.
Overall, a beautiful, captivating piece. Well done.

Again, jewelry, you're making me melt from how brilliantly gorgeous this looks. ; ^ ;

This really looks better up close, but perhaps that's indicative of you focusing too much on detail rather than the whole composition. I think more range of values in places other than the face might help, as well as some type of color or something in the background.

will I never did finish this one :XD:

What do you suggest to make the detail focus go away?
Though mind you, detail is my signature ;)

Oh, I didn't mean that the detail detracted from the image. Not at all. I meant maybe you were focusing too much on the details while you were drawing it.

Oh, yes, they're lovely. Just put some more stuff (for lack of a better term) in other areas as well to balance it out. (like I said in the first post, some color in the background or something)

This is an amazing piece.. I really like how you've managed to fill up the whole frame here, although it's a bit.. awkward in some places, so a bit of smoothing out wouldn't hurt, if you get what I mean.

I like the expression and the stance of things, anyway. It's great how she seems to be gazing sightlessly, and I feel as if the colours work well together too.

The jewellery is detailed to intense effect and I like the shading. Her neck/chest could do with a bit more, perhaps, but it's not that bad...

I like how you've drawn her features and I think it's fantastic how you've outlined her eyes. The mouth could do with a bit of work, though.. a little less bright, and more proportionate there.

Other than that, I really don't have any other suggestions... it's well executed.

Make the mouth smaller, more proportionate, less red.

Neck, add in a bit more shading and such.

Adding shading and can't
make it smaller :XD:
It's in colored pencils and
marker :X too late!
Plus I was doing this in
comic book style and it seems
that the eyes and lips get
drawn HUGE!!! does it even
look like it's drawn in that
style??? or something else???

Ah, that's fair enough.

Hmm... I can understand what you mean, but it would be good to draw it all in proportion. It just feels slightly odd that the rest of the features are but not the lips. o.O

First of all, this is really, really cool :D
The way you combined spot colors opposing the overall paleness of the picture gives, especially on the eyes, an amazing vibrancy to the artwork.
Also, the pattern of her jewellery is stunningly intricate and very skillfully drawn.
However, the scanner messed it up a little :S Maybe try to put the pieces together in photoshop the next time as you can easier move around the layers.
The only thing I can find to criticize, (as you asked me for it) is, maybe, the hair. In my opinion, even though it is supposed to be white, there could be a little more shading to indicate it's volume.

To say it in a word: Wonderful! :icononionloveplz:

yes....scanners...
i was going to upload a picture in my
scraps of this by a camera and c how that
goes....i did upload the 4 separate pieces
in my scraps so if u wanna c those by themselves...

and with the hair i did shade it but idk y
you can't see it on here  thanks for
noticing that!!!!
idk....i can always go back in and add shading
with a grey perhaps :?
i used a sky light blue to shade it but
maybe a cool grey at 10% well work as well....

and

Anyway, I had to scan an artwork of mine (the chamaeleon thing) three times and they pieced together allright.

Yet, I always do a color correction, photoshop offers that, because there's so much quality lost when scanning T.T

Yes, definitely :(
Anyway, I heard once that actually larger scanners were the better kind as their glass plate is thicker and thus provides better quality. So why does everyone buy flatbed scanners, then? O.o
Is that true? (I've been thinking about getting one, too)

scan all the bigger pieces that are
over 12"x18"
hmm...but they r costly ><
